About the farm

Slow Summer Snail Farm is closed to visitors during the winter. Some snails stay awake indoors through the winter and are still available for visits to schools, brownie packs, pre-schools etc.

Slow at Grow our Summer Snail Farm is in Grow Garden Centre at Brogdale Farm, Faversham in Kent. Slow Summer Snail Farm is open to the public in the summer months from the end of May till the frosts come in October.

Slow Summer Snail Farm is a working farm designed for snails but with children and families in mind. The snails are happy to be handled, but they are delicate living things and must be treated with respect. They are safe to handle: they do not carry any diseases which might infect humans.
